Summer cooking camp taught students about food safety and preparation

Lasagna rolls, kale chips and bruschetta were on the menu Saturday as a group of kid chefs from McKinley K-8 school in York showed off their skills in a cooking demonstration at Central Market.
The hour-long exhibition was a highlight of a four-week program Jennifer Heasley and Lizette Santiago ran this summer for about 10 students from McKinley.
