New eatery is one of several new businesses coming to Central Market
As a kid growing up in Princeton, N.J., David Inder soaked up TV cooking shows the way other kids watched cartoons. He got himself a job in a Mexican restaurant where he learned his way around a commercial kitchen.
Years later, he launched a York-based mobile kitchen, which he'd tote around to music festivals and other events around the Northeast, cooking up his favorite dishes.
The 30-year-old York city resident opened his restaurant at Central Market, called The Corner Cabinet, on Jan. 30 in the space formerly occupied by Under One Sun.
Several other businesses will be moving into Central Market in the coming weeks, according to market manager Cindy Steele....
"He has a good knack for flavor combinations, which is going to make him successful," said Aeman Bashir, project manager at YorKitchen, who helped Inder come up with the menu and set the prices, which start at $3.50 for a single taco.
